This year, 2016, is the year of the Red Monkey. Monkeys are clever and playful, and love practical jokes and pranks. Monkeys are usually not very sensitive, and do not understand why others get their feelings hurt from a joke. The result is that Monkeys tend to make friends with those that, like them, are more thick-skinned. For all the Monkey’s intelligence, he or she does not always do well. This is due to an impulsive nature and short attention span.   Monkeys are romantic and passionate, but don’t always know their own minds when it comes to love. Oh sigh…..  I love those greasy chewy Deep Fried Sesame Balls BUT I can no longer eat them.  I had allergy testing done last year and found out that I am allergic to sesame seeds, among other seeds and nuts. Being Asian and allergic to sesame seeds is not fun.  Until I found this out and I started to read the ingredients on packages did I realize how prevalent sesame seeds/oil are in a lot of foods nowadays; especially Asian food! Sesame seeds are put on everything now; especially when restaurants are trying to be more gourmet or do more fusion cooking.   I now have a lot more sympathy to those who have been living with food allergies for years; I have only been dealing with this for about 9 months. I started down this journey due to my eczema being stubborn about clearing up.  I have to say that now that I have omitted a lot of my allergy triggers, my skin has gotten a lot better. But I do miss those Fried Sesame Balls….....

Not only can it help you get pregnant, but this vitamin can also help embryo survival as well as brain development of the child during pregnancy. A study done by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine on more than 18,000 women found that those who took multivitamins that included folic acid had improved fertility. These women also had a 40 percent lower risk of complications producing eggs. Feeding my creative side, I love my Xmas present, an “adult” coloring book! It took me about 4 weeks to finish this page but that’s the point isn’t?   Slow & easy does the job. I used color markers on my first page, now I am trying out my color pencils were I am able to shade and blend the colors more. Should take am another month to finish the second one. Found an interesting post by Zouves Fertility Center how eating processed meats decreased sperm quality by 30%.  But what I find more interesting is that they found that eating fish like salmon or halibut improved sperm quality.
