TESTIMONIALS

If you are in some type of pain and need of relief – call Lorraine owner of Qi Harmony.

I have been suffering from migraines for about 5 years now. I met Lorraine, at a networking function.  After meeting with her on a one on one session, I quickly learned this was the course of action for me.  The holistic path is just what I needed at this juncture of my life.  The moment you enter into office, there is a sense of calm and relief.

I knew not to expect overnight results.  I immediately noticed a sense of relief in my life. Knowing that there is someone on my side to help me with this ongoing problem is a definite plus.  Slowly but surely I believe my headaches will be coming to end.  I needed to positively put this out to my universe that if you are in some type of pain and need of relief - call Lorraine owner of Qi Harmony.

My heel had been nagging at me constantly…

I have had a pain in my heel for nearly a year that has been nagging at me constantly.  I read everything on line and tried nearly everything to get it fixed.  I figured I would give acupuncture a try as nothing had been able to help.  Lorraine was great.  She knew that it was my first time and was very informative of what she was doing and what the desired result was.  I was surprised to find after an hour all the pain in my heel was gone.  I was expecting this to be a temporary solution to my issue, but was surprised to find the next morning (when I usually experience the most pain) my foot felt fine.

2016 Year of the Red Monkey

This year, 2016, is the year of the Red Monkey. Monkeys are clever and playful, and love practical jokes and pranks. Monkeys are usually not very sensitive, and do not understand why others get their feelings hurt from a joke. The result is that Monkeys tend to make friends with those that, like them, are more thick-skinned. For all the Monkey’s intelligence, he or she does not always do well. This is due to an impulsive nature and short attention span.   Monkeys are romantic and passionate, but don’t always know their own minds when it comes to love. A Monkey may be completely convinced that he has found “the one,” only to become spellbound by another a few weeks later! A Fire Monkey is an ambitious person who is able to stay more focused than the average Monkey. A Fire Monkey person still dreams big dreams, but has a far better chance of sticking with those dreams until they succeed. It is hard not to be impressed by a Fire Monkey. A person born under this Chinese sign will be intelligent and quick, and he or she is often the first person to see a solution to a problem. Not only does a Fire Monkey get the right answer, but he or she has the energy to see a plan through until the end. Overall,  fortune will fluctuate during this year for Monkeys. What you should greatly care is the health of your family and yourself as well as the home safety. Career will go quite smoothly. Many opportunities will favor you. Therefore, your career may reach the peak... read more

An Asian allergic to Sesame Seeds?

Oh sigh…..  I love those greasy chewy Deep Fried Sesame Balls BUT I can no longer eat them.  I had allergy testing done last year and found out that I am allergic to sesame seeds, among other seeds and nuts. Being Asian and allergic to sesame seeds is not fun.  Until I found this out and I started to read the ingredients on packages did I realize how prevalent sesame seeds/oil are in a lot of foods nowadays; especially Asian food! Sesame seeds are put on everything now; especially when restaurants are trying to be more gourmet or do more fusion cooking.   I now have a lot more sympathy to those who have been living with food allergies for years; I have only been dealing with this for about 9 months. I started down this journey due to my eczema being stubborn about clearing up.  I have to say that now that I have omitted a lot of my allergy triggers, my skin has gotten a lot better. But I do miss those Fried Sesame Balls…..... read more
